Is Delta Executor Safe?
Short version: the app is a script runner, not malware — but "safe" depends on which risk you mean. There are three, and only one of them is about the file you download.
The three risks, separated
Most pages on this topic answer a different question than the one people are asking. "Is Delta Executor safe" usually means one of three things, and the answers are not the same.

The one people worry about most — a virus in the app — is the least likely. The one they worry about least — losing the account — is the one that actually happens.
Is the Delta Executor file itself dangerous?
The genuine build is a script executor. It attaches to a running Roblox process and runs Lua you give it. Nothing in that design needs your files, your contacts or your passwords.
Your antivirus will very likely flag it anyway, and that is expected. Attaching to another running process is exactly the behaviour security software is built to catch, so the Windows build in particular tends to trip Defender with labels like Trojan:Win32/Wacatac or PUA:Win32/GameHack. A flag like that is not proof of malware — but it is not proof of safety either, which is why the source matters more than the scan verdict.

Can you get banned for using it?
Yes, and this is the part most download pages skip. Roblox detects and penalises exploiting, and it does not need to catch you mid-script. Bans arrive later, sometimes days later, and they are not reliably appealable.

The risk nobody talks about: fake download sites
This is where people actually get hurt. "Delta Executor" is a high-traffic search term, and dozens of cloned sites exist to serve reuploaded files, fake key pages and installers that bundle something extra.
- Never enter your Roblox login anywhere. Delta does not need it. Any page in a download or key flow asking for it is stealing accounts.
- Refuse "verification" downloads. If getting a key requires installing another app, that app is the payload.
- Ignore anyone selling keys. The real key is free and takes two minutes — see how the key system works.
- Be wary of bypass tools. They break the key handshake and are a common malware route in this niche.
- Walk away from any site telling you to switch your antivirus off. We found top-ranking Delta pages advising exactly that. Excluding one file is reasonable; disabling protection before downloading an unknown file is how people get infected.
How to reduce the risk if you use it anyway
- Use a throwaway Roblox account with nothing on it you care about.
- Never reuse your main password on that account.
- Turn on 2-step verification on your real account, so a stolen password alone is not enough.
- Scan the file before installing rather than after.
- Keep your security software on. Whitelist the one file if you must; never disable protection wholesale.
- Do not run scripts you have not read where you can avoid it. A script has the same reach inside the game as the executor does.
